What have we got organised?
Saturday 17th September - Branch Meeting in the Black Lion, Llanbadarn, Aberystwyth 2.30pm for a 3pm start.
Wednesday 28th September we’re back at the Black Lion for one of our popular quizzes. Turn up any time after 7 for an 8pm start.
Saturday 8th October An overnight trip to Penderyn http://www.welsh-whisky.co.uk/ and Breconshire Brewery http://www.breconshirebrewery.co.uk/ was planned but it has not been possible to book any brewery visit to the area that we wanted and on this date. However they have promised to accommodate us later in the year so watch this space.
So - plan B. This will involve visiting some of the cider producers on the Herefordshire cider route and will only require a day trip.( October is a good month for visiting cider producers). A bus has been booked with either Paul or Llinos driving. One of the destinations will be Butford Organics who have said that they should be able to provide a person to talk us through their cider and perry production. A full itenery has not been worked out yet but will be able to put forward a few different options for discussion at our forthcoming branch meeting. If you would like to put your name down for this trip ( or know of anyone else who would like to) please let me know by Friday 16th of September or at the branch meeting.
Saturday 19th November visit to Purple Moose Brewery in Porthmadog and also a branch meeting. 1pm start. http://www.purplemoose.co.uk
Saturday January 14th Christmas Meal in the Wynnstay in Machynllyth post branch meeting.
